Astroboffins estimate the heliopause to be around 130 AU, and Voyager 2 is currently at about 140 AU, while Voyager 1 has traveled 170 AU. This leaves New Horizons with a challenging decision: continue its journey into the unknown or return to Earth with the data it has gathered.
